Principal vs fee split for loan repayments

Stripe withholds a fixed percentage of gross sales (e.g. 20%) for repayment. Stripe's API reports only the total withheld, not the principal/fee breakdown. Set the split from your loan terms: fee ÷ (loan amount + fee) = fee %, the rest is principal. Example: 83.40% principal / 16.60% fee.
